Michelle has worked in the financial services industry for 40 years. A qualified Financial Adviser, her areas of interest are pensions and investments. She is extremely passionate about helping clients achieve their financial goals.
Michelle believes that while spreadsheets, calculations and percentages are important, the most essential role is listening to clients’ hopes, fears, and plans for the future. Once she has understood these, she uses her technical knowledge to deploy a personal plan that, with regular review, will see clients through the rest of their lives.
Michelle feels privileged to be given the responsibility of knowing so much about her clients’ private financial affairs. It is when a plan comes to fruition and clients start to see the real value that professional financial advice can add that she feels the most accomplished.
Outside of work, Michelle loves listening to live music, dog walking, camping and spending quality time with her family. She is also a media volunteer for Diabetes UK, helping to spread awareness and tackle the misconceptions of the condition.
